The Torre de la Vella (Tower of the Candle) is the most famous of the Alhambra’s towers and a landmark of Granada itself. 

Here it is, in the superior corner, on the right. Seen from the Plaza Nueva.
From the top you have a splendid view of the city and of the Sierra Nevada.

Granada having fallen to the Catholic Kings on 2nd January 1492, there is a tradition saying that if women ring the bells of the tower on this day, they will be married within the year.
